OPEN GOVERNMENT PARTNERSHIPS (OGP) ACTION PLAN 2025-2027.

The County Government of Machakos is dedicated to transparency, accountability, and citizen participation through the Open Government Partnership (OGP) Action Plan 2025-2027. This initiative strengthens public trust and engagement in governance.

Key Commitments

At the official launch, County Secretary Dr. Muya Ndambuki highlighted the government’s commitment to:

  • Enhancing Public Participation – Strengthening citizen involvement in decision-making.
  • Improving Budgeting Processes – Ensuring inclusivity and transparency in financial planning.
  • Expanding E-Government Services – Leveraging technology for better service delivery.
  • Strengthening Procurement Processes – Implementing fair and accountable procurement.
  • Empowering the Youth – Creating opportunities through progressive policies.

The launch was attended by key government officials and stakeholders, including:

  • Dr. Joel Nzomo – CECM, Devolution
  • Mercy Mutua – CO, Decentralized Units and County Administration
  • Bruce Isika – CO, Youth and Sports
  • Charles Mutinda – CO, Office of the Governor
  • Philip Mutooni – Youth Senator, Machakos
  • Directors from the Department of Devolution

The OGP Action Plan 2025-2027 will promote accountable governance, better service delivery, and sustainable development for Machakos County residents. We encourage all citizens to take part in this transformative journey.
